What is Grand Idea Mafia?[]
Grand Idea Mafia, commonly referred to as GIM, is one of the major game modes of Discord Mafia, featuring custom roles created by the community.
Everyone can make a role, all you have to do is go to the public channel in the discord and get typing.
Since this is our second attempt at Grand Idea Mafia, we are wiser and decided it would be best if we introduced some rules in order to make everything a bit more balanced and easier for the hosts and players alike. You can find these rules within this section of the wiki down below.
How Does Grand Idea Mafia Work?[]
GIM is usually played in an "All Any" format. This means that out of every possible role, each player is given a random one. Balance such as Town having the majority of players is often not taken into account, although hosts may decide to introduce balancing rules into the system, which we will also touch upon down below.
Other than that will the game be pretty much the same as an "All Any" setup. Everyone gets a random role, there will be evils, aka Mafia and/or Coven, Towns and Neutrals, and most wincons are generally standard, with some exceptions in between.

It is also extremely important that you check out the Role Creation Rules first, because if you don't your role may get scrapped!
